What do Tobi Tobi need on the day?A stool or chair and shade if the day is looking sunny or like its going to rain! We find its always best to have an umbrella handy just in case! Aesthetics are super important to Tobi Tobi and we don’t want to have an umbrella in your ceremony area unless its absolutely necessary! In blaring sun Renee’s iPad can spontaneously turn off and strings can go out of tune! However, if your day is looking not to hot, not to cold with no chance of rain we should be fine without it :)
-
Can they learn songs that are not on their list ?Absolutely ! Renee and Jamie can learn up to 2 songs per event! Renee and Jamie are always up front and honest about songs because they want your special moments to be perfect. On the rare occasion Renee might state that a particular song doesn’t suit her voice, however, 99% of the time they are able to make any cover special :)! Additionally, songs in other languages require more time and effort, and we would be happy to provide you with a quote if you're considering having a song in Italian, French, or any other language.

I love Tobi Tobi but I really want to have “We are the Champions by Queen” pumped loudly as we walk back down the aisle as man and wife, is this ok?It's totally awesome that you dig Tobi Tobi, but let's be real - nothing is more hilarious and fun than belting out "We Are the Champions" by Queen at full volume as you strut down the aisle with your partner in tow! And don't worry, Tobi Tobi won't be miffed if you opt for the classic original version instead. At the end of the day, it's all about making your big day as epic as possible, and they're all about helping you do just that!

Do couples usually have the same song played for the bridal party and the bride, or should the bride have her own song? This is an exert from a Blog Renee wrote about Live music during wedding ceremonies..... There is no right, wrong or standard answer for this one – but I’ll lay out a few thoughts that might help clarify your options and help you to decide. If your aisle is long – say, in a lush garden or a large church – then it’s pretty safe to have a separate song for the crew who’ll be walking before you. Bridal party and page-kids walk to one song, then you glide along to your own. If your aisle is on the shorter side (between three – ten metres) then it would pay to think about a few of the specifics first - like how many bridal-party-aisle-walkers you have. If your aisle is short and your bridal party small – I’d suggest keeping it simple with one song for everyone. Humans need a little bit of time to develop feelings – it’s not always instant – so it’s better to let your audience get emotionally invested in one glorious song, rather than jolting them too quickly out of one and into another. Another thing to consider is where you’ll be when your bridal party walks. Will you be hidden from view, or standing in plain sight? If your audience can see you waiting – then you can probably see them, too. In this instance, I’d suggest one song for everyone, as seeing the crowd + nervous energy = a Usain Bolt down the aisle. If you have a barrier between you and the crowd (a closed door? A wall? A nice hedge?) then you can buy yourself a bit more time. Your musicians can give the first song the time it deserves, then begin your second song and then you can appear when when you’re ready. If you want to test this, pop on the original version of the song you want played and visualise yourself at your wedding. Imagine Tobi Tobi has just started playing 'Can't Help Falling in Love’ (an absolute classic), and your best friends are walking ahead of you, down the aisle. How long does it take them to get to the end? Are they walking fast or slow? Say we’ve only reached the end of verse one and they’re already at the end of the aisle – would you be sad to end the song there? If it’s a yes, then there’s your answer. One song done well sounds perfect for you. And remember things tend to move faster on the day. With all the nerves and excitement, it’s highly likely your aisle-walk (and your song) will be over sooner than you think.

LastlyHAVE THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE! Remember to breathe. Take one moment, or two, or three! Your wedding day only happens once! Before you walk down the aisle take a few deep breaths, soak it all in as much as possible, see if you can let the music really flow through you! We have some brides tell us that hearing Renee and Jamie playing put them at ease! It doesn't matter how long you wait, because Tobi Tobi can repeat sections and Renee and Jamie will always make it more special when they see you walking down the aisle !
